IRONMAN Winter Series 

GoPro Motorplex’s IRONMAN Winter Sprint format features 20 drivers competing in a 2-lap qualifying session, followed by a 10-lap Sprint race and then a 40-minute individual endurance race with two mandatory kart swaps.  

The Winter Sprint IRONMAN format of Rental Kart racing at GoPro Motorplex; endurance racing for individuals! The Winter Sprint IRONMAN events are also a great opportunity for competitive rental racing in the Winter months. 

Cost: $75 per night, 20 seats available

Race Day Event Schedule: 
6:10PM - Drivers Meeting  
6:30PM - Sprint Race: 2-lap qualifying, 10-lap race  
7:15PM - Enduro Race: 40-minute race; 2 mandatory kart swaps

 
Light Division: January 18th, 2021

Light Division drivers must weigh or weigh-up to make the 190 lb. weight minimum to even the playing field. 

 
 
Heavy Division: January 25th, 2021

Heavy Division drivers must weigh or weigh-up to make the 220 lb. weight minimum to even the playing field.

**NEW WAITLIST POLICY**

Starting in 2020, we will no longer accept call-ahead waitlist requests. The waitlist will open one hour prior to the scheduled drivers meeting time. The participant wanting to join the waitlist must be present; another racer or friend cannot put your name on the list. 

For the pre-registered drivers; if you are not checked in* by the scheduled drivers meeting start time, you will forfeit your spot completely and not be able to race in that event. You will receive a refund only if your spot was managed to be filled by someone on the waitlist. If you do not show up, or call ahead of time and we are unable to fill your spot, no refund will be issued. Prior arrangements are accepted; for example if you are pre-registered and know that you cannot attend, call ahead and let a staff member know. A 24 hour window of notification would be appreciated. There will be no transfer of credit to future races.

*Checked in- Meaning you have been to the lobby, checked in with a staff member, and received your wristband.

However, make-up dates for severe weather conditions in the case of extreme temperature, rain or snow have been built into the schedule. As always, no refunds will be issued. Come on out and race with us this winter! Spectator admission is FREE. 

Must be 16+ years old with a  valid driver's license (Must show I.D.) to drive one of our rental karts. Learner's permits are not accepted.
